Information

Opening as the new attraction for the 2019 theme park season, Witch has moved into Chessington’s iconic Burnt Stub Mansion. She has certainly redecorated the place! Taking over from the home’s former owner, the Wizard and Goblin’s of Hocus Pocus Hall. This rejuvenated attraction takes guests straight onto the pages of this classic Julia Donaldson storybook.

With lively new sets, fantastically magical effects and all of your favourite Room on the Broom characters, this really is a magical journey. Walking through the halls of this stately home, the story unfolds and transports guests young and old on an adventure. Help Witch to find her wand, her hat and even her bow! Join in on the magic and help Witch on her adventure!

This rejuvenated Chessington classic is alive with scents, magical lighting and some sensational special effects. It no longer looks or feels like it once did. Originally opened in 2003 as Hocus Pocus Hall, this attraction closed in September 2018. It was then put up for sale. All as part of Chessington’s media campaign for the new attraction.

Although the walls, layout and some of the aspects of Hocus Pocus Hall still remains as part of Room on the Broom. The team at Merlin Magic Making have given the worn-out halls a new lease of life under this new guise.
