Welcome to our section dedicated to the past rides & attractions of Chessington World of Adventures. Over the years, this theme park has evolved and undergone numerous changes. Including the introduction of exciting new rides and attractions. While the process has resulted in the retirement of some iconic and beloved rides, visitors who experienced them continue to cherish the memories they left behind.
One such ride that holds a special place in the hearts of many is Professor Burp’s Bubbleworks. This immersive water ride was a staple of Chessington. For over two decades, the ride took visitors on a whimsical journey through a world of bubbles and bright colours. Loved for its cheerful theme, catchy music, and the delightful scent of bubblegum that filled the air.
Another ride that was a crowd favourite was Rameses Revenge. This thrilling ride took passengers on a dizzying spin and flipped them high into the air. The Egyptian pharaoh Rameses II inspired the ride, which showcased intricate theming and decorations.
In addition to these iconic rides, there were many other attractions that entertained and enchanted visitors over the years. From the Runaway Train to the thrilling turbulence of Samurai, these rides each had their own special charm and appeal.

Black Buccaneer
