Information

Peeking Heights was a Ferris wheel that was once the centrepiece of the Mystic East themed land at Chessington. Opened in 2005, the ride replaced, Samurai, which had been a staple at the park for a few short years.

From its towering height, Peeking Heights provided riders with stunning views of the surrounding Mystic East landscape. The ride offered a unique perspective on the park’s many attractions. Allowing visitors to take in the sights and sounds of Chessington World of Adventures from a whole new angle.

In 2017, the park closed Peeking Heights, despite its popularity, to make way for the refurbishment of Mystic East. The area underwent a transformation and became the Land of the Tiger. A new themed land that celebrates the majestic creatures of the jungle.

Although Peeking Heights is no longer a part of Chessington, its legacy lives on. For many, the Ferris wheel was a highlight of their visit. Providing a unique and unforgettable experience that they will always treasure.

As Chessington World of Adventures continues to evolve and grow. New attractions will undoubtedly take the place of old favourites like Peeking Heights. However, the park’s commitment to providing visitors with exciting and unforgettable experiences remains unchanged. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or not. Chessington is sure to have something that will capture your imagination and leave you with memories that will last.
