Go Ape At Chessington This Summer!
In a surprising and exciting twist, Chessington World of Adventures has officially announced a brand-new partnership with aerial adventure experts, Go Ape. This bold collaboration marks the first time Go Ape has teamed up directly with a theme park, and it’s set to bring something truly unique to the Resort.
Known nationwide for their treetop obstacle courses, Go Ape specialises in providing high-adrenaline, family-friendly outdoor adventures. Now, with Go Ape’s expertise in installation and training, Chessington will be taking the reins and operating the new course themselves—with full support from the Go Ape team. This move sets Chessington apart, especially considering that other Merlin parks, such as Alton Towers, operate their own high ropes courses independently.
So, what can guests expect? If everything goes to plan, the new high ropes adventure will launch this May, coinciding with the reopening of Explorer Glamping. Although timing is still subject to final preparations, the course promises to deliver an unforgettable experience. With rope bridges, zip lines, and high-flying challenges among the treetops, it’s an active, thrilling alternative to the park’s traditional rides.
More importantly, it’s a refreshing and bold step forward. As Chessington continues to diversify its offerings, attractions like this help to broaden the appeal of the Resort, giving families even more reasons to extend their stay and explore new adventures.
Get ready to swing, climb, and conquer—Go Ape style! With this new addition, guests can truly unleash their inner gorilla and join the tribe in the trees.
Of course, we’ll be tracking construction and updates every step of the way. Be sure to follow Chessington Buzz on social media for the latest news, photos, and exclusive behind-the-scenes content as this exciting project comes to life!
