Theme Park to reopen July 4th

  June 23rd 2020

Theme Park to reopen July 4th. Chessington World of Adventures Resort has today officially confirmed that the Resort and Theme Park are to reopen. In a post made to their social media channels, the park has announced they’ll reopen on the 4th of July. The resort closed to the public after just two days of operation due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

Thankfully, following new rules from the government, they can now reopen to the public. Providing they are ‘COVID Secure’, can limit numbers and can ensure that adequate measures are in place to protect guests. With temperature checks, social distancing and other safety measures expected to be in place.

“Following the Government announcement today, we can confirm that we will reopen our Theme Park and Resort Hotels on July 4, yippee!

LOOK OUT for more information on our website later today…”

Theme Parks were forced to close in the middle of March due to the ongoing threat of the Coronavirus. We are excited by the news that Chessington will soon be able to reopen. With the season so far only having been open for two days, it’ll be exciting to get back on our favourite rides.

The team will be visiting the park on opening day in the next couple of weeks to get all the latest news and updates. Be sure to check out our updates on our social media channels, links to which are below.
