Chessington Plans July 4th Reopening

  June 4th 2020

Chessington World of Adventures has today revealed that they intend to reopen in one months time on July 4th. In line with the guidance currently in place by the government, they fully expect to be able to reopen soon. The resort was made to close in March just two days after opening due to the current COVID-19 pandemic.

In line with current Government guidance, we expect your adventure to restart here on July 4, when hopefully we’ll reopen the Resort.

We have just updated the information and advice on our website regards this and how we’re preparing to make sure everyone has a safe, wild adventure…

Chessington has revealed some new information about what is to be expected when the park reopens. Mandatory temperature checks, reduced park capacity and enhanced cleaning are part of the park’s plans. The plans show that the park is taking things incredibly seriously with safety the top priority. It comes at the same time as other Merlin parks, Alton Towers and Thorpe Park announcing similar rules.

We hope that we’ll be able to enjoy a day out at a theme park again soon. In the current global crisis, we also hope and wish that all of our friends and followers are safe and well. Chessington Buzz hopes to be able to provide more updates from the park again soon. Until then, be sure to check us out over on our social media profiles. Links to which can be found below. Stay safe.
