Elmer has transformed his troupe of magical flying elephants for the 2020 season. Prepare to fly high aboard a merry and bright elephant in a hidden cranny behind the Adventure Point Gift Shop. Always a favourite for visitors no matter their age. The Jumbos’ well-known bouncy nature constantly provides amusement and entertainment for both riders and spectators alike!

The Flying Jumbos have long been a staple of Chessington’s busy history. Provided by Barbieri and operating within the park since the days of Circus World. The ride has undergone many changes from being themed to performing elephants as part of Circus World. Relocating to Toy Town and again to Zufari! But its popularity always remains the same with guests young and old.

Although the ride now features a theme based on a series of children’s books. Chessington couldn’t have picked a better character to breathe new life into their classic ride. Elmer’s Flying Jumbos really is the ideal theme for one of the park’s oldest rides.
